Membership Covenant 

In the Name of the God, the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 

I, ____________________, believe that God has called me to serve his church as a theologian under the authority of the College of Bishops of the Anglican Church in North America. I affirm that I have attained a terminal degree in a theological discipline (Ph.D. or equivalent) and that I have been confirmed or received into the ACNA. I pledge to be an active member of a local ACNA congregation, where possible. I pledge that I will pursue my vocation in submission to my Bishop, as representative of the whole College, and in obedience to the Constitution and Canons of the ACNA. I pledge that I will devote myself in my vocation to the aims of the Society of Anglican Theologians, as set forth in the Charter, in ways appropriate to the institutional location in which God has placed me. Furthermore, I pledge that I will live according to an Anglican rule of life, as set forth minimally in To Be a Christian, qq. 252-5, and that I will attend gatherings of the Society absent extenuating circumstances.
